Nicole Rawlins is a printmaker, painter and arts educator based in Portland, Oregon. For 16 years, she was an artist member of Inkling Studio, a professional printmaking cooperative in Portland. Nicole currently works out of her home studio, Pandora Press Art Studio, in NE Portland. Nicole predominantly works in intaglio printmaking, which includes etching, mezzotints, spit bite and drypoint. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is in the collections of several museums and colleges in Oregon. She has recently published a book, “Ray Trayle: Pressmaker,” through Blurb press on renowned Northwest press builder, Ray Trayle. Nicole is the director of the adult visual arts program at Multnomah Arts Center (MAC) in Portland, Oregon. She also founded the printmaking program at MAC and has recently created its new studio, Trayle Studio, a center for printmaking and book arts.
